Natcon 2010: 15mm DBR Report
One of the premier New Zealand wargaming events is Natcon. Some 150 wargamers attended with historical competitions and demonstration games in Ancients, the Renaissance and World War II. For my part this year I opted to participate in the 15mm DBR competition using a English Civil War Royalist army.

There were eight players in the 15mm DBR competion with armies ranging from from Europe to the East and even the New World. The combination providing plenty of variety. Above, my left flank starts to crumble as galloper guns and dragoons fall back ahead of Muslim Indian cavalry that move rapidly forward. Meanwhile below, in my final game of the weekend, the Royalists engage a Regency French army of the 1660's.
